There She Is

Second Ghostbusters Librarian reference– strange.
And there is a reson for everything–
- Edgy short haircut– no-nonsense style, works with dry library environment, can be pulled back into a sassy ponytail, but still looks good with minimal effort.
- Quirky cool reading glasses– if you have to wear glasses, make sure they look good.
- High necklines and cardigans– don’t want patron staring down your top when you’re looking something up on the computer; cardigans ward off the chill of air conditioning, or door drafts.
- Dorky chic dangling earrings– this one actually seems a bit hazardous to me, but they match the glasses, and are less inconvenient than a necklace– have to remind people that you’re a girl sometimes.
- Hemline no shorter than knee-length– don’t want to worry about showing too much when bending over for books.
- Sensible flat shoes– Sensible, enough said.

Even stranger because Annie Potts is the receptionist, Janine, not the librarian.
Bah, humbug!
I wear glasses to see…trifocals, in fact. Short skirts? LSHIWMP!!! How are we supposed to bend to retrieve those books on the bottom shelves?
Short hair, but long enough for a pony-tail?
Sensible shoes, yes of course!
Tacky earrings…I wear real 14k w/ Diamonds!
Real life librarians are just soooo NOT Annie Potts!
>^..^<
I have no control over the color of my edgy, short haircut.
